Oh, what pretty things you found at market. After more than 16 years as a shop keeper I have to say I don't miss any of it. I'm so happy to know that there are still a few of you out there that are willing to still risk it in this business.

I was so excited the first time I went to market - but the whole Christmas trees and Santa on the inside, and 110 in the shade outside was a shock. Now, I go carefully and with a plan - and am exhausted. Market is hard work.

Hello, dahling...you were brave. I didn't even venture into the cavernous maw of ELL-LAY to see what the offering was. I was so off of it this year, and just into the vintage thing, I couldn't imagine walking that show. I can't wait to see what you turned up...you have such a good eye, and isn't that always the fun thing, to see what one sees and what another does? We are completely self-absorbed

It is kind of you to be honest and realistic about "shop owning". We all love OUR stuff but it only turns a profit when some one ELSE loves it!! The shows are exhausting and overwhelming but I'd pick that any day over the mall!!LOL!
