Oh, these are gorgeous! You have a beautiful label. So nice to know they are USA made, but look so French. The Lime-Verbena is a favorite of mine. Congratulations and best wishes on your wonderful new candle line.
Debra
wow, how lucky you are to start something ever-so LOVELY! congratulations to you. :) I adore candles & my favorite scent of all time is Gardenia for sure, the smell takes me anywhere I want to go & usually it's a gazebo in an english country garden ;-) have a lovely day, I am so glad I found this blog!
Love the labels...and I want to smell that candle!! I think my favorite scents are light and airy...I love it when I walk in the house and there is just a touch of yumminess in the air! I love the idea of these being soy...perfect!
What a pretty presentation! I tend to like the Linen and Vanilla scents, nothing too strong. Your Lime Verbena and Grapefruit sound like they would be right up my alley.
Gardenia!!! Love Gardenia, but mostly love your amazing shabby chic style and your label is fabulous! I love chatting with you on Twitter, Thank you for all of the wonderful inspiration of your garden setting and your amazing decorative style, you have an amazing imagination and creative flair! xoxo Amy Delaine :)
Have a great day!
Congratulations - these are stunning. I love the label! Yummy sounding scents too - I love candles and almost always have one burning in my home. I love lots of different scents - your grapefruit and lime verbena sound amazing and the rose too!
Congratulations on your candles. They are lovely packaged and I really like the label on the glass. I love candles, especially the soy, they are clean burning. Happy to hear you used american farmers soy products.
I love spice scented candles and your Maison line sounds wonderful.
Best wishes and thanks for sharing.
How Serendipitus :-) that yours was the first post I came across as I sat to peruse my favorites...which I haven't done in FOREVER! We are getting hit with raging thunderstorms and my little girl is a bit frightened, so I kept lighting candles until she proclaimed it to be "Enough!". At the moment, THAT is what I like best about candles: they transformed a scary storm into a tranquil haven for my daughter.
O.my.goodness Lidy!!!! They are absolutely gorgeous!!!! So elegant...and I'm sure they must smell heavenly ~ I would probably love Trianon French Rose or the Lime-Verbena. I sure wish my screen was scratch-n-sniff! xxoo, Dawn
Those are beautiful and I bet they smell delicious! I love vanilla scents but the gardenia sounds lovely!
Congratulations, they look wonderful!!! I love linen but the Lime Verbena sounds wonderful!!
Isabel
In winter time I always burn candles that smell like cinnamon It gives such a cosy feeling... in summer I prefer more something like grapefruit or oranges. I think it is great you are using soy! as a vegetarian I love all things soy
Good luck with your new candles and business
all the best from Holland, desiree
Your label and packaging is lovely and I applaud your insistance on supporting USA farmers and manufacturing. I really like soy candles because they burn cleaner and are better for people with respiratory issues.
I would use the unscented candles. Congrats on the launch of your delightful candle line.
the packaging is truly beautiful, congratulations on launching this lovely line! *love=lime verbena*
ps. also hosting a small giveaway on a new blog [www.ftnliving.typepad.com]
How much fun you must have had designing these candles! My favorite scent for a candle is a delicate rose scent, one that is distinctly rose, but not overpowering. Ironically though, the candles I burn most are spicy, pumpkiny, scented candles, because as soon as it feels like Fall has hit, I get absolutely crazed with the desire for Fall, my favorite time of year. Out come the candles then and I burn them all the way through to Christmas.
Your candles are just elegant. I can not imagine your sense of accomplishment. We look forward to seeing the rest.
Charla
Gardiena!! LOVE it!
Hi Lidy :)
Congratulations! I love all sorts of candle scents, but I'm usually drawn to anything with vanilla. To me it smells like home :)
I think of the ones you have listed, gardenia would be my favorite, because it reminds me of my childhood in California.
xoxo,
rue
The candles are beautiful! I always use lavendar scent, because I have lavendar plants in my yard that always end up inside :)
Beautiful presentation !!! I love fall scented candles - pumpkin, spice, apple - I love spring scents as lilac, cucumber, gardenia
How glorious! Soy candles created in our own country- thank you! Gardenia would be my favorite scent. My husband and I garden in part for fragrance- confederate jasmine, gardenias and magnolias all grace our lawn and garden. We'd light the candle when we enjoy special time together.
I'd choose gardenia! My husband and I garden in part for fragrance. Gardenias, confederate jasmine, and magnolias all grace our lawn and garden. We'd light the candle during special times together.
Thank you for creating soy candles in our own country!
Oh Lidy!!
Congratulation!! They look absolutely gorgeous!! I am so incredible happy for you, the Design are so pretty :) I can almost smell the lovely scents all the way to Norway. I love decorating with candles, but often the ones that smell are very expensive. So I treasure them very much, when I am able to buy one.
I was popping by yesterday, but it was so late that I was afraid that I might say something wrong :) You know, when you are a bit whimsy. I enjoyed your latest images so much. I was Inspired by your lovely decorated table with the Linen with red stripe. I was thinking, Oh I wish I could make a table like that :)
I wish you a special and exciting time, and hope your candles will sell incredible well!!
Friendship, Aina

I adore candles!!!! A home without scent is a home without a heart, for me. I love unusual, warm scents -- woody but too masculine. But then I also adore Volcano by Capri Blue which is anything but woody -- it is totally fruit-filled.... so, go figure! :) Guess it just depends on the mood... and the room.
I love fig and cedar as well... elegant and a "neutral" scent for those times guests will include men and women.
Lovely candle creation, Lidy! I've always dreamed of creating my own signature fragrance!!! Congratulations!!
~Ruth
Congratulations on your new venture. The candle scents all sound great but I think I would lean toward the Lime-Verbena. Your packaging is lovely. Great job!
Congratulations on your new line! I love that they are U.S. made, we need more of that! The scents sound wonderful, I would love to try grapefruit or rose:>)
Congratulations on your new product launch. How exciting for you. I think candles are a great way to introduce scent to the home. My favourites scents are usually more fresh than heady. Florals can become a little overwhelming for me as much as I love them. Other favourite scents are peppermint or coffee. PS The packaging is lovely! Julie
How wonderful to start a new venture with your candles. The packaging is stunning! Living in Florida, the Lime Verbena scent would be just perfect...I do hope I win! (fingers and toes crossed).
Blessings,
Donna
OOOOhhh! They are almost too pretty to burn. The French Rose sounds wonderful and very romantic.
Yummy, I can't wait to try them all. The French Rose is sure to by favorite, as I love all things rosy.
Ooh la la! So chic!
Congrats on your new candle line, they look wonderful!
Xoxo
Your candle scents sound wonderful, especially the grapefruit. And the label is very elegant. I recently got a candle with a "beachy" scent - that is, the nice parts of beachy without the rotten fish overlay!
LOVE.....any lemon scent. Your candles are gorgeous...I am keeping fingers crossed!!! XXX Annelies
You always encourage me here...causing me to want to do beautiful things in our house too. So, thanks for the give-away opportunity. Fun to think about.
As to scents...my goodness, I'd be partial to the Grapefruit or the Rose, I think.
Btw, thanks for following me on Twitter. :) Makes me feel like a celebrity!
How beautiful! Love the complete look! thanks, Mandy
Congradulations! They are beautiful! I think I would especially love the gardenia-they will make perfect gifts. Barbara barbaraboxell@yahoo.com
Hi Lidy! Congratulations on your new candles. I choose different scents depending on the time of year. In the spring and summer I like fruity melon scents. In the fall and winter, of course I like something that smells like it's baking! Your labels and boxes are beautiful!
Lidy, your candles are so beautifully presented with that gorgeous label. Tellement très français, mon cher!
Scents are so individual I give you credit for such wonderful choices. As I had read in some of the comments I too would pick something for warm season/cold season but for all around the year I think the lime verbena sounds nice. But for the bedroom I'd love the rose.
Cathi Isza

Gorgeous packaging. My favorite has been Diptyque Roses...smells just like my antique bourbon roses...so I save it for winter when there's not a rose in sight. Love Gardenia as well. It's amazing that it only takes minutes to scent a whole room...wonderful to go to sleep to. Good Luck on your new line.
Wow - I think your time planning has been well spent! The label looks very elegant and the scents you present sounds very good. I would love to try them out, especially the gardenia smell. Would be very nice to light such a candle a late autumn evening and crawl up in the sofa together with my loved one. :-)
The packaging is sooo pretty! I tend to go for the woody, musky scents the lime verbena sounds wonderfully light and fresh.
Bravo that you worked so hard to get a quality candle made in the USA! Much success.

Congratulations on your new line of candles. I love Gardenias but also love a linen type of scent. I'm be back to read more of your blog.
Congratulations on your new lovely candles. I love the idea of a natural, USA-made candle, with a French accent! Very different from the smudge pots I now have at my bungalow.
I think that the smell of a gardenia just might be the best smell in the world, other than a freshly lotioned and powdered baby snuggling into you. Love the label and the thoughtfulness that went into making it work for a variety of decors. I hope your new candle venture does very well for you!
~Jill~
Lidy,
Thanks for dropping in for a visit and for your sweet comment. Congrats on the new candle line! This is so exciting!!!
The scent I use the most when I use my favorite candles is Hazelnut. I love the rich caramel color and the nutty scent. It makes my home smell like there is some wonderful fresh baking gong on or a a rich cup of frothy coffee with whipped cream waiting to be enjoyed.
Such a wonderful project to finish. Your labels are lovely and all the scents sound delicious. I know soy candles must be a better idea. Congratulations on a job well done.
Please enter me in your giveaway. any scent would be a treasure to me. I hope I am lucky.
Hugs...Jeanne
Wow Lidy, These are beautiful and I can not wait to smell them!
I always love fruit smell, Lemon would be my favorite.
Thanks for stopping by to let me know about your new venture! The box and ribbon are divine.
Congratulations!

Congratulations on your candle line - they sound and look like they are very high quality. I would have to choose lime-verbena as my favourite scent. My all-time personal favorite for scent (candles/oil/perfume/lotion/etc...) is patchouli, which appears to be harder and harder to find. I also love fresh clean scents, that remind me of crawling into a set of sheets just off the line ... mmmmm....
Beautiful candles! Congrats! I have to say during spring and summer I love citrus scents like Grapefruit! For winter I lean towards scents with Vanilla or Spicier scents.
Your new candle line is beautiful Lidy! And from France, no less! :)
Congratulations, I love the labels!
I love most any scent, but especially lavender...it is such a calming fragrance.
I just found Soy candels this last year...I love them! They last and the fragrance is quite pleasant. I'm loving your blog. Thank you for the invite over. I'm always amazed when I meet someone knew....by the way can't wait to get my fingers into Tara's book!

I love french country decor. I am a landscape designer and it is befitting to bring the outside in with candles being the finishing touch. Nothing like candle light... romantic and enchanting... isn't that what every woman desires?
