Just for you ~ a little spot in the shade in my garden. Wishing you all a little mini~vacation this weekend. To dream. To do nothing. To gaze at flowers. To drink some Tea. To read a chapter of a romantic book. To listen to those you love laughing. To enjoy life!
I hope you will enjoy this weekend, before you know it, the days of summer will start to wane.

Oh, don't remind me! I know that summer will be over all too soon. We are going blueberry, peach, and blackberry picking here in Missouri this weekend...its my birthday and that's exactly what I want to do! :)
We are off to a neighborhood bonfire...SMORES!!!! I agree, lets have some fun. I'm reading Dorothea Benton Franks new release, Return to Sullivans Island. I adore her style of humor and Beachy Lowcountry wit, enjoy Your weekend my friend, xoxo~Kathy~@ Sweet Up-North Mornings...
That looks so serene... wish I was there. I am going to take your advice and sit a spell this weekend with an iced tea and a good book, thank you!

School supplies in stores and it is near 100 degrees. Not ready, nope!
Thank you for your beautiful weekend wishes! As we are finishing off a week of painting exterior woodwork, our weekend may not be as relaxing as you advise, but the house will be in a better shape when we've finished! Have a wonderful weekend yourself.
Oh my gosh - what a lovely spot to sit in! I'd love to read a book this weekend {or at least a magazine}.
Looks like a wonderful spot to sit and read a great book.
So peaceful and beautiful! Have a great weekend too!

What a sweet hostess. It is the most calm, quiet corner for some refreshing relaxation. So thoughtful.
Blessings, Candy
I am on my way over for the comfy seat and the shade!
This Summer is going by way to fast. My daughter is already shopping for school supplies for her children.

It's perfect. Thank you! :)

Eileen,
I love this little bench. A few years ago, a neighbor behind us thought she was moving and had a big sale. I bought the bench and a few other things, and walked around the {big} block with the bench on a dolly, it weighs a ton! Later she didn't move, and I gave her back everything else I bought, but she allowed us to keep the bench since it was so very heavy. You can't see it, but the bench "legs" are rabbits!
We have been having a rainy summer, a little sun came out this weekend. What a wonderful place to sit.
Ahhh Lidy...wish I was in your garden right now. I will bring the mint juleps...or iced tea.

Thank you, Lidy, for these beautiful summer wishes! I REALLY needed something like this!
Your shady spot is gorgeous, and the cushions too.
Have a great summer,
