Gorgeous European Linen Duvet covers, with ruffles and embroidery, to sleep under each night?{These are my new passion, I don't think we will ever sleep under anything else again at our home} available at Frenchgardenhouse.com
Darling pillows to toss around on your bed, with a few Roses, to remind you of the garden when you are inside? All these things make me love my home, but mostly, it's being surrounded by my family, friends, dog and kitty, and breathing in that scent of h o m e.
This is not my home. But I do totally adore this look, and someday, maybe, will use this as the inspiration for the outside of my dream house. I dream of this home, I love the weathered facade, the plants growing on the house, the gravel, the little bistro set, and the cute little person, too! What dreams do you have for your home? I'd love to know!

What makes a house a home? Although the stuff you decorate with is important. The things that make a house home are the memories attached to the people we love.My big Victorian bed is gorgeous, but the memories of snuggling with my grand-daughter reading Goodnight Moon and saying prayers, these are the priceless treasures.Beautiful Post Thanks! Meg
I so agree, Meg! You can create beauty in your home, but it's the memories attached to the people we love that are the most important.
My little guy said to me today, "Mommy, maybe we can get a sign that says, 'Home Sweet Home'." To which I replied, "Zion, is our house happy?" and he said, "Yes. That's why we need that sign."
A home is a home because of the people that are in it. A house becomes a home because of the love, laughter, friendships, memories, tears and joy that take place within its walls. And of course it doesn't hurt to accentuate this with marvelous treasures, pink depression glass, wonderful fabrics and antiques. Creating a wonderful atmosphere that resembles a peaceful, heavenly existence is a joy that I take seriously. I desire to create peace and rest for all who enter in.
Make our earthly Eden like our Heaven above!
Home is where love and life begins.. and i love decorating our home as well
Heavenly images and divine blog...!
I love my home too. I work in a very affluent part of town and I see big beautiful homes everyday. But when I get home, I am grateful AND TOTALLY SATISFIED with my little French cottage! It's our gardens, the Roman style spa shower and fireplace that I love, plus a great husband!
You have such a beautiful blog, I am so glad to have found you! Anita
Having raised seven children in our home has given our home lots of happy memories.
I do love the look of your dream home too.
Thank you for visiting me and leaving a nice comment.

home is where the heart is for sure...and where wonderful memories are made and remembered...
Home is where your memories are, and beautiful things are just things. I think of how my daughter reads on the porch swing, a favorite tree to sit under, my garden of course, but it is still just a place to stay. Home is a feeling of peace, and I have that with my family wherever we are, together. Lovely post! ~Brooke
When I come home from a trip, it's just nice to have your own things around you. The people, the pets, your own bed to sleep in.
I love my own bed almost the very very most! Somehow I sleep so much better at home, even though the "other" beds are great. And I adore my Linen duvet.:)
Your taste and mine are very similiar I could move right into that beautiful French house and love all the French furnishings and bedding....Dream.

What eye candy! To me what makes a house a home are not the things but the people. The things are bonuses that bring instant happiness because much of what I own has history and comes with a sotry and memoreis attached.

What lovely photos. Well, a house is just a house until it's filled with love! Only when it's walls resound with love can it be called "home".
You have an amazing blog- I just love to browse! :)
My home is my history. I can look around and find a story to each and every piece in my cottage and that's what I love best.
